Position: General Laborer/Equipment Operator

Company Overview

-D- Cattle & Grain LLC is a Family Farm operating in three counties of Missouri and Kansas with Headquarters Near Liberal Mo, consisting of 4000 acres of row crops and hay.  We practice regenerative agriculture with a key focus on building back soils, utilizing the latest in plant health products as well as biologicals and the incorporation of livestock and manures to balance the soil.  The crop rotation that we do is corn, beans and wheat. Currently we have horses and seasonally we may have cows or hogs in a feedlot setting. We do have an ag retail business and a rental business where some duties may be needed from time to time.

Job Description

We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals, that aligns with our core values listed above; to join our team as General labor/ Equipment operator. The successful candidates will be responsible for various task related to farming and assisting with the ag retail business ProAg Ventures LLC and rental business Daniels Properties LLC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist in the production of row crops and haying
• Operate machinery and equipment as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized tools to be more efficient
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Perform quality checks on equipment before use
• Support team members with various tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in agricultural/farming or warehouse setting is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime
• Open to learning new skills
