We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual, that aligns with our Core Values, to join our team as a Bookkeeping and Social Media Specialist. This unique role combines financial management with digital marketing to support our company’s operations and online presence.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
- Maintain and update financial records (expenses, income, invoices, etc.) in accounting software.
- Track invoices and manage accounts receivable/payable.
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Assist in preparing financial documents for tax filings and audits.
- Assist in monitoring cash flow and budget allocations.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Create engaging content (posts, stories, videos) aligned with the brand voice.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to messages, and engage with followers.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay updated with trends in digital marketing and social media algorithms.
- Update Website and create new content for it as needed.
- Help monitor Google Analytics to keep track of business trends
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for engagement.
- Creative skills in content creation and social media marketing.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools.
- Previous experience working in a dual role (finance and marketing).
