For immediate release
July 31, 2025
Cox Barton County Hospital invites the entire community to participate in a morning focused on health and wellness at this year's Community Live Well Screening.

The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, from 7 a.m. to noon in the hospital's lobby and parking lot, located at 29 N.W. First Lane in Lamar.

"We are excited about this event as it promotes the early detection and prevention of diseases such as strokes, heart failure, and diabetes through the screenings we offer," says Judy Good, RN, stroke program coordinator at Cox Barton. "Identifying these diseases early allows for timely intervention and treatment, which can significantly improve health outcomes and potentially prevent more serious complications."
