Barton County Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Rebekah Johnson as New Board President

Lamar, MO – May 30, 2025 — The Barton County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce Rebekah Johnson as the new Chamber Board President. Johnson brings a wealth of experience in both business and event management to the role, along with a passion for community development.
 
“We are very excited to have Rebekah’s business and event experience in this leadership role,” said Kim O’Sullivan, Chamber Director. “She is very creative and has fresh ideas to bring to the organization.”
A long-time supporter of the Barton County community, Johnson returned to her hometown of Lamar several years ago and has since been an active local business owner.


 
“As a business owner in Barton County, I’ve been committed to supporting our community since returning back to my hometown,” said Johnson. “I think we have some really great things happening here. As board president of the Chamber of Commerce, I’m honored to be a part of a continued effort in shaping our community’s future—where local businesses thrive and our community grows stronger together.”
