About Us

Compassus is a nationwide network fo community-based hospice and palliative care services. Our company was founded in 2006, but our roots reach back to 1979, when we served communities as hospice care was in its infancy.

Hospice brings comfort, safety and quality of life to the end of life's jounrey. It focuses of the person - who they are, how they feel and what they need - with comprehensive care to meet physical, psychological, social, cultural and spiritual needs.

Ultimately, hospice is not about dying. It is about quality of life - helping people live as well and comfortable as they can, in their envoronment of choice, when life expectancy is limited. It's about providing individualized care, easing the burden on caregivers and surrounding the patient's family with care and support following and end of ther patient's life to help them through their healing journey.
