- Able to be self-motivated and complete work tasks efficiently, in a timely manner
- Organized and neat with files and in order keep stock shelves in an appropriate manner
- Able to work with volunteers with differing personalities while maintaining a caring manner and professional demeanor.
- Computer skills to run POS system, credit cards machine, Volgistics, and other types of office equipment.
- Numerical ability to calculate prices, discounts and other factors relating to retail merchandising.
- Ability to assess and provide manager low inventory levels as necessary.
- Retail merchandising skills needed to keep floor displays in shop fresh and inviting. Able to keep shelves in stockroom neat and in a manner that merchandise can be located quickly at the customer’s request.
