Commission Meeting Minutes December-26-2018

NOW ON THIS DAY THE COUNTY COMMISSION met pursuant to law in the Courthouse in the City of Lamar, MO.

  • Ben Reed moved to accept the minutes of the December 17, 2018 meeting as read. Jeff Tucker seconded and all agreed.
  • Approved December Expenditures
  • Approved Monthly Reports – Sheriff
  • Approved Liquor License – Caps Cabin
  • Approved December Payroll
    • Bids for 2019 were opened with the results as follows: 
      • Six Sack Mix Concrete:  one bid was received from G&H Concrete. Bid was accepted. $96.00 a cubic yard and $5.50 a cubic yard mesh. 
      • Grade 60 Bendable Rebar:  one bid was received from Viebrock Sales LLC. Bid was accepted. 
      • Concrete Culverts:  no bids were received
      • Polymere Coated Metal Culverts:  two bids were received. Metal Culverts, Jefferson City, MO and Viebrock Sales LLC, Sedalia, MO. Ben Reed motioned to accept Metal Culverts bid. Jeff Tucker seconded and all agreed. 
      • Crane Work:  one bid was received from Ozark Crane. This bid was accepted. 
      • Dozer Work:  one bid was received from Kinney Excavating LLC on a D-6 Dozer at $150.00 per hour. Bid was accepted. 
      • Track Hoe Work:  no bid was received. 
      • Pre Cast Slab Bridge Decks: two bids were received. Scurlock Industries, Springfield, MO and Oden Enterprises, Wahoo, NE. Jeff Tucker motioned to accept the Oden Enterprises bid. Ben Reed seconded and all agreed. 
      • Bulk Off Road Diesel Fuel:  no bids were received. 
      • Rock:  one bid was received from Midwest Minerals. Mike Davis motioned to not accept any bids for rock due to availability and location of projects. Jeff Tucker seconded and all agreed. 
      • Rock Hauling:  one bid was received from Chip Miller Trucking. Mike Davis motioned to not accept any bids for hauling due to availability of hauler and location of project. Ben Reed seconded and all agreed. 
      • Food Services for Inmates at the Jail:  no bids were received.
