Commission Meeting Minutes April-1-2019

NOW ON THIS DAY THE COUNTY COMMISSION met pursuant to law in the Courthouse in the City of Lamar, MO.
Jeff Tucker moved to accept the minutes of the March 25, 2019 meeting as read. Ben Reed seconded and all agreed.

  • Approved April Expenditures
  • Approved Monthly Reports – Assessor, Circuit Clerk, County Clerk, Prosecuting Attorney and Public Administrator
  • The County Commission received notice that there had been a water leak at the jail and the security cameras for the jail are no longer operational. After inspection it was determined that they system needed to be replaced. This has been deemed an emergency situation. They contacted Wireless Connections and Net Vision Communications to provide a proposal for an IP Camera System. Wireless Connections submitted a proposal in the amount of $16,391.75 and Net Vision submitted a proposal in the amount of $7,395.00. The County Commission accepted the proposal from Net Vision. Larry Coose, Net Vision, was here and signed the proposal.
  • Information was received from the Sheriff’s Department that Sharie Voorhees was hired as the new secretary/administrative assistant for the jail. She moved to that position from dispatch and will stay at the same rate of pay. The notice is dated April 2, 2019.
