Commission Meeting Minutes 1-3-2022

NOW ON THIS DAY THE COUNTY COMMISSION met pursuant to law in the Courthouse in the City of Lamar, MO.

• The Barton County Commission met and opened their meeting with the pledge of allegiance.
• Jeff Tucker moved to accept the minutes of the December 27, 2021 meeting as read. Ben Reed seconded and all agreed.
• Approved 2021 End of Year Expenditures that were paid on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
• Approved Monthly Reports – Circuit Clerk, County Clerk and Recorder of Deeds
• County Commission revisited the handicap grievance procedures policy that has been in effect since 1984 and revised in 2001. No changes were made.
• Bids were opened on Single Audit of the county. One bid was received from Stopp VanHoy CPA’s & Business Advisors LLC for $17,000.00. Their bid was accepted.
• The County Commission, by resolution, adopted an affirmative action plan.
