The first step will be attending our Quarterly Breakfast on August 1st to begin understanding the importance of a Comprehensive Plan for our community. \n\nGreat places are not created by accident\, communities make choices every day about the type of places they will become.\n\nThese choices are incremental\; it is not always clear what impact a single decision will have. Many decisions made over time have created the communities in which we now live---so let's propel our future with data-driven guidance for our future prosperity!\nComprehensive plans are a vital tool for communities to cohesively build a Visionary Road Map. AND discuss the next steps for a LAMAR Comprehensive Planning phases.\n\n	 \n	Astra Ferris\, CEO Barton County Chamber of Commerce\n\n	Astra will be joined by Members of our 2019 Board of Directors to discuss the organizations steps toward creation of our own plan.\n\n	Where have we been?----Reviewing highlights from the 1970's Comp Plan as well as the 1994 plan. Hear what your Chamber and Community Leaders are doing to create an actionable comprehensive plan that won't gather dust--- and where it could take us!\n\n	 \n	Laurie Sousby\, Senior Development Officer\, CoxHealth Foundation\n\n	The CoxHealth Foundation presentation will include information regarding the work of CoxHealth Foundation including fundraising and direct patient assistance. Resources will be provided to easily access assistance.
