Trivia Night 2016
Test your knowledge and help support a really worthy cause at our 2016 Trivia Night! Build your team (ideal size is 4 person teams but we allow up to 8 per team) and come out to dominate in our trivia challenge.
Do you have what it takes to win?
Questions will be displayed on a screen at the front of the room for 30-60 seconds. Teams will then secretly consult with each other and choose the answer which they think is most likely correct. They will write down their answer on an answer form which will be collected and tallied at the end of the round.
Each round has a category (ie: Entertainment, History, Science, Sports, & Geography - Art will be used in the event of a tie.)
Each round has ten MULTIPLE CHOICE questions. Answer sheets are collected and tallied between rounds.
The team with the most correct answers at the end of five rounds, WINS!
MULIGANS - At the start of the night, each person on every team may purchase one mulligan ($5 each) which can be used in place of an answer. Questions you use your muligan on are automatically counted as correct.
TEAM SIZE: Ideally teams should be only 4 people. However, due to multiple requests for extras ("We have a fifth person who really wants to join." "We don't have enough for two teams but we all want to play!") we're allowing up to 8 per team.
BE WARNED - more than four and it gets very hard to discuss possible answers without nearby teams hearing your discussions. If you have the ability to keep your team at 4 people, you might consider doing so.
All teams are encouraged to have a theme which they can decorate their table with and/or come dressed up as! A prize will be given to the team who demonstrates the most spirit! Some ideas for themes could be: Your Business/Company, Super Heroes, Disney, Fairy Tales, Party/Luau, etc.
Get more than just bragging rights! Certificates will be given to the winning team members, declaring them our Winners of our Trivia Night, AND, the winning team will have their fees refunded!
What would a Trivia Night be without great snacks & fabulous beverages? Mazoo Liquor is our event sponsor and will provide two drinks per person attending. Teams are also invited to bring their own food and drinks (especially if it fits with your team's theme!)
